Favourite album covers 2012
I seem to be doing a lot of 2012 threads...anyway, Pitchfork have had their say here: http://pitchfork.com/features/staff-lists/9014-the-best-album-covers-of-2012/
Agree with some:
Beach House - Bloom http://tinyurl.com/bg8vfxc
GY!BE - Alelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend! http://tinyurl.com/d586dqm
Tame Impala - Lonerism http://tinyurl.com/cbnko5u
Plus:
Port St. Willow - http://tinyurl.com/c2od4cq
Please include both a link and the album name. To help reduce clutter, we could use http://tinyurl.com/ to shorten the lenght of image links.

THE SEER
NO WAY
That sucks. It takes away from the classic aesthetic Swans used to have and actually made me not want to listen to the album.
:P oh please...
It wasn't the artwork that made me not want to listen to the album, it was the 'songs'... plus, Michael Gira made pretty enthusiastic comments about the cover in at least one interview, and I hear he's difficult to argue with.
My vote is on Lonerism.
The last one started that trend though didn't it
I think it's great.
but if you turn the LP over
you see the wolf's asshole :(
Action Bronson - Rare Chaneliers

oh nice, an animated version
love the laser alligator (?) and the booty bounce
That Godspeed cover is brilliant
Really like the Laural Halo and Grimes covers
the drawing on the Grimes one is ace, reminds me of anopther fav of the year for Shackleton: http://assets.boomkat.com/images/558673/333.jpg That Beach House cover reminds me of a Kyle Hall 12" from a few years ago: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/4643079844_305d077880_o.jpg
