A victory for real music...
he was like I'M NOT AN X FACTOR CONTESTANT, I DON'T DO COVERS and he does both
were born of frustration
He would get snapped up by some label and could do all sorts of things he wants to do. Instead as the X Factor winner they do nothing at all for a whole year until the next X Factor starts for some reason, then noone will give a shit as they will have a load of new people to listen to. Plus the music they get given will be shite. It is only the odd winner that ever seems to do anything, Leona Lewis is the only one I can think of?
you're boring me
Seriously, think about it. She's never on anythign unless he has a hand in it. She's been massively mismanaged. I mean, what do we know about her? Nothing. she's released a load of cod covers, one per Christmas and her latest song is anal beads.
She could have been this nations Whitney Houston (80s Whitney) and shat allover the competition like Beverley Knight. But nah, he's a two dimensional nothingness like all of Cowell's products. Really fucking boring.
I find that the odd thing about all the X Factor winners. They say they are hiding them away and "working on their album" etc. Then they finally surface with a single launched nearly a year later when noone cares about them. They really should ride their fame and chuck out loads of singles while the iron is hot. They have been learning a song a week for a good few months now, I am sure they can handle it. Leona is just really lucky that she is actually a very good singer, otherwise she would be in the scrapheap with (insert name of winners here whose names I can't even remember).
surely olly murs must be getting tired of playing the cheeky chappy?
look what good that did him coming second...
Seriously. i'm not about to sit down and listen to her albums (though I own a couple) like I would a Siamese Dream but she's great in comparison to a prepackaged rent-a-wail like this one with Cowell's hand up her arse. Couldn't give a fuck.
and look what good that did them.
How you end up on X Factor isn't really the deciding issue, it's what single you release first and what promotion you can get, as well as a million other factors you can't control like fashion and having a gap in the market.
I would suggest winners are poorly served though by the sheer fact Cowell seems to insist their album isn't released until the next series is on, meaning everyone has forgotten about them. Bizarre thinking.
But I was waiting at a friend's house last night, and when I heard some X-Factor cracker was going to do Let's Get It On I was rubbing my hand's with glee. But he was excellent, much to my chagrin.
If what they wanted was a good singer, Ella Henderson was the best by an absolute mile.
Let Us Get It On
