definitely channeling Kasabian

The one that they debuted a couple of months ago sounds like Pop-era U2.

Over the last few weeks but it is utterly, utterly awful.

Elephant does actually sound quite a bit like Shoot the Runner. Tunes, both.

I woudn't dare diss riffs. They'd beat me up.

I wasn't actually insulting the song. I don't mind Foals. I don't like Kasbabian really, true, but it was a gut impression, not contrived. I find myself very rarely comparing bands to Kasabian. I probably need to hear the song more. But if the shoe fits.....

That 'My Number' track sounded good on Jools Holland though.

but generally I can't stand them. Put a few of those bits together and you could make a song as good as Inhaler. I don't love it, but it's better than any Kasabian track.

Kasabian's laddishness kind of undoes any good they do.

I was in the car yesterday and turned the radio on having no idea and I thought I was listening to Kasabian until they said it was Foals at the end. I did a double take.

Love them both. Really looking forward to this album now

not sure about this Kasabian likeness, can't see it all really. The Song is great though

really groovy. Chorus is a bit too nu-metal for me though.

I really liked My Number on Jools Holland (those hi-hat hits reminded me of Shoes by Tiga) and it's full of pop hooks, but i'm not sure of the recorded version, bit too much reverb on everything IMO.

I don't get the Kasabian comparison. Hmm.
