Hjaltalin - Enter 4
Just thought I'd post a thread about this album, as it's just been released in the past week and will probably miss out on all the various end of year lists (I can't even find a review for it online).
Anyhow, they're from Iceland, and their first album sounded like a nice poppy mix of Jens Lekman and Benni Hemm Hemm. But this third album of theirs sounds more experimental and atmospheric perhaps. A song is here:

their first album is wonderful
really really not keen on the second apart from that one massive showtune which is so great it actually makes me giggle every time i hear it
heard one song from this last week, it was ace, i don't know whether it was this one, but it made me hopeful for a return to form.
I'm the same:
their first album is brilliant, whilst the second one I just found okay, with a couple of good songs (although it did get better after seeing them live). Their new album is quite different from their first album, but is brilliant from start to finish.
Just bought this based on that one track.
