Independent Label Market
Despite it being tomorrow there doesn't seem to be a thread on the label market yet!
Anyone going?
I really loved last year & got a lot of great records. This year my label Robot Elephant has a stall so even better! Hoping the other labels might trade some back catalogue with us.
We are on the Sunday but great stuff both days, love it when all the friendly faces get together for a couple of days!

Presumed that most people on here would know what it is.
Most of the best Indy Labels get together and run a market selling all their wares. Started in Soho and then moved to Spitalfields last year. Second year is today and tomorrow.

this was pretty good today
picked up some records at Lex, Monotreme and Gringo and got some free vinyl. Tempted to head back for the second day but I probably shouldn't.

looks like they must be doing it a few times a year now.
There was one in Spitalfields in April.

Didn't just got today and not tomorrow! Gonna be sharing a stall with Song, By Toad records.
Would have liked Gringo to have been tomorrow got a bunch of stuff like from them :)

This was great today
got stuff from monotreme and pink mist (big scary monsters), and free samplers, om nom nom samplers.
The moshi moshi stall was surrounded (whilst I was there) by Scots...do they have a Scottish connection?

Not sure on the Scottish connection, they have one or two but not enough to merit all scottish!
Well tomorrow obviously I'd recommend the Robot Elephant / Song By Toad stall cos I'm on it but apart from that I'l be buying records from the Soul Jazz / Acid Jazz for sure. Leaf Label is also great, Tape Club Records got some good stuff.
Phantasy Sound will be selling the repress of the Connan Mockasin album which is in my opinion and actual classic. Possibly the best album of the last 10 years.
So many other good labels but that's a few suggestions!
