I also love Creedence Clearwater Revival's cover of I Heard it Through The Grape Vine better.

But their version represents for me, a convergence of everything that I love about Bauhaus: the drumming and bass are top notch, Daniel Ash's guitar sounds incredible, and Peter Murphy's vocals are great. I may be slightly biased as it's probably among my favorite Bauhaus tracks, but I still think it's better than Eno's version.

I don't think it's better than the original, but Reznor definitely captured the spirit of the song, and really did it justice.
