Mission Of Burma
Just noticed that Mission of Burma are playing at Mono in December.
I like the early stuff (Vs, etc) but kind of lost track after that.
Anybody seen them live? Worth seeing?
- Relevant artist taggings:
- None
-
I didn't hear the most recent one
but the other post-reform albums have all been pretty good
-
Will definitely
be at their London show.
-
I'm going to this
But I haven't found out if tickets are available yet - have you seen them anywhere? I should just get my arse down to Mono to ask really.
-
Yeah I preferred the others
This one just plods along a bit for me. It's perfectly passable but struggling to want to put it on again after 5 or so listens.
-
They are £12.50
and onsale from mono, tiks scotland etc. Should be a gid yin
-
Leeds gig details, I would strongly advise buying tickets in advance if
travelling from other places.. http://www.facebook.com/events/281457065287322/?fref=ts

I'm seeing them in Bristol on Monday
supported by Future of the Left.

Saw them live 3 years ago?
They were fantastic.

got me excited for the leeds show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzNnuKa8dkQ
-
I just saw this
But I'm away on that date....
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
-
hello, was at the brudenell on friday
and posters in the toilet said Future of the left were supporting.
However the flyer pushed into my hand at the end of the night said otherwise.
Do I believe toilet posters or postcard flyers?
-
I thought they were only supporting in Bristol?
Leeds support is Bilge Pump and someone else who I can't remember.
-
I can't find any evidence other than toilet poster
Maybe that was old or summat.
-
do you mean Lucien?
I wouldn't trust him.
zxcvbnm- this'd this -
leeds support is bilge pump and broken arm
future of the left are not playing as they pulled out. that poster is wrong.
-
Saw them last night in Bristol.
They were good. FOTL were very good. Didn't think I liked them. Seems I was wrong.
-
FOTL were immense...
wife got me tickets for my birthday after I had spent the last 6 weks thinking I was going to have to miss it....
-
deeeeeply...
regretting missing this tour. Unsound is growing on me - it seems badly sequenced, all the kick arse stuff arrives in the second half.

Very good live band yeah
One of the better comebacks in recent years. New album is pretty average but suspect the set would be 50% other stuff anyhow.
