poor score, its a bit shit but reckons they can do better .....

Just noticed Pitchfork gave Fiona Apple a 9.0 and Japandroids only 8.8. Really??

it was actually quite sportsmanlike, if i can use that inappropriate word. when a music reviewer thinks something is really shit they usually use that as a chance to (predictably) stick the knife in. quite rare for someone to not get personal.

Pop etc. I mean. Shit or not, they are likely to have put their heart and soul into this album, love it and are super excited about it's final release, then they read this.
