Those acts that play every-fucking-where? Last year it seemed to be Little Boots, La Roux and Friendly Fires. Go.
Delphic, I Blame Coco, The Drums
I think a second wave of interest in The Big Pink and Bombay Bicycle Club off the back of the NME Tour might see them do well. Mumford & Sons are huge right now so expect them.
At least they put on a show. Same with Mumford and Sons.
Delphic and Ellie Goulding will be everywhere sadly. I really like BBC but they are definitely
I really like BBC, but their live show doesn't do themselves any favours. Imagine I'll be watching the festival coverage on BBC3 at 12am and there will be The Big Pink and Delphic on all the channels.
Of course latest NME favorites Delphic, The Drums and Friendly Fires will make appearances. Probably Muse as well. In fact, with RATM promising a free gig, surely promoters will do their best to coincide their appearance with a few festivals...
would be my guesses. I remember reading an article the other week going on about how festivals were going to really struggle with headliners this summer because of a lack of big breakthroughs/number of bands in hibernation so I think whore-ism may reach new heights this summer. Biffy are good shouts for just about everywhere, Muse will do all the big ones, maybe Wild Beasts and These New Puritans too? I still live in hope for Arcade Fire...
