He is just great. The new record is on my list to get next from boomkat. anyway i sent him an email asking if i could put on a gig for him in london next time he's over. he sent me a really nice reply saying that there were no tour plans but he'll get in touch when they come over. a really nice and humble guy as well.

Ok I've totally missed this feature - and I'm mentioned in the thread... Why on earth did mine start with Joanna Newsome? I haven't heard anything by her for ages... Is it done randomly? I feel very out of the loop.

I haven't used last fm for ages because it has stopped scrobbling tracks I play on my ipod and therfore rendered itself pretty useless.

I picked you because you were the first "friend listening" that I recognised.
I guess it clocks up everything you listen to. So all the stuff I've listened to from the people above is now in my library.

I was just bemused that my music taste has been represented by one squeaky voiced chanteuse. If it had been Big Black, Circle takes the Square or someone I would've burst with pride.
