Buskers - good and evil
On the passage between the Central Line and the Waterloo and City line at Bank station, I regularly walk past a busker. He ovbiously fancies himself as a singer-songwriter, of the square-jaw-with-stubble type, the kind who probably talks about 'real music'. He drives me mad. He's made me hate 'Here Comes the Sun' by continually playing it ad nauseum.
To make matters worse, he has a sign that says 'Smile - it won't hurt' obviously to spread his message of sunshine to glum-faced communters. Well, I would smile mate if I didn't have to listen to your dreadful draadful music every other morning. However I do smile when I see the old guy playing a banjo in the same spot. He's ace.
