does no one care about truck festival anymore?
never mind, i'll be stewarding with a load of scottish people as it's close to my parent's house, and we will be down the front during errors shouting "kaaathaay" a la mike leigh's 'naked'.

it used to be amazing
but i think it's too big now, the ticket price this year is very expensive for what's available, fair play to them giving so much to charity though. i'm a bit sceptical how they're going to fit all the extra people in too as it seemed to be at bursting point capacity wise last year, it'll be pretty tricky to get into any of the smaller tents.

I'm going.
But I'm finding it hard to get that excited about it. The lineup is a little disappointing.
I'm sure it'll be fun though!!1!one1wun -
oh man you were my long ago mixtape partner but we never mixtaped.
wanna swap cds at truck?
-
i didn't think about that, the tents were so crowded last year.
not so good for my short self.
-
Yeah, cool, that sounds like a good plan.
And it gives me plenty of time to...find...the CD I did definitely already burn. Honestly.
I'll PM you. -
last year there was lots of talk about different festivals on her
but now it's just ATP...

I love Truck, but Truck 9 was the last one that I really enjoyed.
The rescheduled Truck 10 felt like a bit of a wash out, though fair play to Robin & co for managing to rescue it at all.
I don't like the sound of the increased numbers, I felt that Truck was at maximum capacity already.
Again, that ticket price is a issue too, I think it's now doubled since Truck 8 which was only four years ago. Additionally, it now clashes with Latitude, Camp Bestival and possibly Glade too.

AND secret garden party, yeah?
the ticket price has never really affected me because of the stewarding but it has gone up silly amounts, i admit. but it is still way cheaper than many festivals, just depends if you feel you are getting your moneys worth.
