Bestival
Many people going? Line up is particularly ace this year. Hopefully they'll sort out the nightmare site from last year. Apparently the main stage is going to be right next to the campsite to avoid as much rainy trampling destruction in the event of bad weather again. was verging on unbearable last year.
Lineup highlights anyone? The Field, Diplo, Squarepusher, Frightened Rabbit, Appleblim, Efterklang, Buraka Som Sistema, and Michael Nyman personally.
Reckns for extra additions? Am hoping on Phoenix (free month and playing Camp Bestival so who knows) and Venetian Snares.

I think Rob Da Bank put a message on the Bestival forum suggesting that pretty much all the money had been used up so I don't think there'll be many more additions, if any. Still, the line-up's pretty solid as it is, really looking forward to it.

The line up looks fantastic.
I would go just to see The Field & Metronomy, neither of whom I've yet seen. I'm also really excited about seeing Efterklang, again after a long gap, also The Horrors, Delphic & many others.
Before then I've got Indietracks, Oxegen & Green Man.

we'll be getting there thursday evening. loads of people do get there on Friday, but it's harder to find a place to camp, so you have to walk further.

HELP!
I have a ticket to Bestival, as three friends are I were meant to be going. One's uncle is getting married that weekend so has dropped out, and another has been in hospital for a month and has been told he's too ill to go, so him and his girlfriend have sold their tickets, leaving only me with a ticket. Do I go, or do I sell the ticket? Advice plz!! xx

After much deliberation, I've decided to sell the ticket. Going on my own just wouldn't be fun. If anyone wants an NUS ticket, or knows of anyone looking for one, let me know. Face value (plus p+p), just want to recoup costs. Cheers!
