What you need to know about the Cinch :
They formed in 2000 and have used a lot of bass players.
They released an EP ( 2002 ) and an album 'shake if you got it' on American punk label Dirtnap Records even if they weren't punk at all.
A rock critic once compared them to the Strokes if they'd grown listening to 4AD's bands which was a bit strange.
They split at the end of 2004 after gigging a lot.
CC Rose is now playing with Vancougar, the Christa Min, KiIler...whales! and Pink Mountaintops.
Kathy Dube is now playing with Anemones and The Christa Min.
