Band members names - role in the band:
Andrew (A.P) Ward: vocals, guitar
Russ Freeman: guitar
Dave (dougie) Hockley: bass/backing vocals
Mark Ward: drums
Brief Band History:
Russ, Andy and Mark had been jammin around since school , we met Dave through friends and just had him come over one day and just play with us . We all just clicked, and decided to make it a regular thing and Red Nettle was born!
Influences:
Pearl Jam, Deftones, Tool, Bush, Alice in chains.
Life changing albums?
Russ: Its gotta be the first Deftones album Adrenalin. It was the first band to mix really heavy guitars and a strong vocal melody - its just the perfect mix of metal!
Dave: AC/DC - 'Back In Black'. Cos Angus is the man!!
Andy: Definetley 'Appetite for Destruction' by Guns 'n' Roses - it was the first real guitar album I had heard.
Mark: Gotta be Pearl Jam's 'Ten'. Each song expresses so many emotions It's still as good as the first day I heard it.

What are your plans for the future, releases, tours etc..?
We are going back in the studio to put down some new tracks for an e.p . Then in April we are planning a tour to promote it. We are planning to play in:
Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Nottingham, Manchester, Leicester, Reading, Oxford, Brighton and London
