Introducing GUILE - Neal Sawyer (vocals / guitar), Jon Sawyer (guitar), Adam Shaw (bass), Jack Collins (drums) - hailing from the darkest heart of the Black Country (Cannock to be precise - and it don’t get much darker than that!).

Guile’s debut, self-released double A sided single ’My Salvation’ / ’You Had It All’ is a mind-bending mash-up between Spaceman 3, ’Storm In Heaven’-era The Verve, and Jesus And Mary Chain which is apt given the single was produced by Gavin Monaghan who has worked with the brothers Reid.

Guile are a tight-knit gang who do things collectively - even contacting their press officer, answering the phone, and probably making their tea, as one unit. This close bond has been forged by playing over a 100 gigs since their inception in the winter of 2004, gigs played with Neil’s Children, Stephen Fretwell, Planes Mistaken For Stars, and We Are Scientists among others.

Their hard work is beginning to pay off with a plethora of critical plaudits ringing in theirs ears from everyone from the NME to Sandman magazine and A&R interest from home and abroad.
