Oooh, anger anger anger. Even before we knew they were Welsh, DiS was pondering the fact that My Red Cell remind us of little bits of Mclusky and The Crocketts. And this has got the be the angriest Welsh debut EP since The Crocketts spat out “I DON’T FUCKING THINK SO!” over and over. A fine racket it is too. “Fuck love and hate, let’s masturbate to rock’n’roll” goes ‘Dedication’, slightly stupidly, and a little bit badly. ‘She’s Leaving’ is the best of the four tracks; a funky stomper of time changes and a nifty bass riff with, yes, those angry vocals. Grrrr. A little disappointing overall but their gigs show there is better to come.
