Anyone crossing fingers for Liars may as well give-up and get the colour back in their digits: as it’s Natasha Khan and Bat for Lashes who've been confirmed as tour support to Radiohead on their forthcoming tours of Europe and the UK.

The DrownedinSound-released, Mercury-nominated artist will join the band on their jaunt round the continent and our small isle this summer – full dates below:

did.

not. see. that. coming.

Honestly I'm chuffed for ms khan.

meh

too much Liars can be a bad thing

You'd have thought they would have a few more

especially at the outdoor gigs, possibly 3 or 4 support acts, so I wouldn't necessarily give up hope of someone like Liars supporting (not that I'm bothered about them, I'm holding out for !!!).

Originally, were some of the gigs not billed as 3pm doors

and this has now changed to 7:30/8pm doors/entry?

That'd probably mean one, maximum two supports, sadly.

Of course, I could be completely wrong.

It's not T4 on the beach, y'know

and it's not like they need help selling tickets.

True

but for the prices they are charging you would have thought there would probably be more than one or two supports. I was expecting it to be similar to the arctic monkeys one at LCCC last year with 4 or 5 others playing.

hooray

£50 ticket pain slightly lessened

other people would call it

sub-tori amos bumfluff

It's more bjork that Tori, surely.

Tori blows anyway.

exactly

Surely

there's gonna be more than one support?

Gates open at 4pm for facks sake

all together now

BAD! TO HAVE A BAD UNCLE!

Gutted.

As much as I want to like Bat for Lashes, I just can't. "What's a Girl to Do?" was good, though.

I guess that means glasgow too

which is pretty rubbish because bat for lashes is/are dullathon

^

this.
I want to see liars dagnammit

Well I for one am happy

this is great news

could of been

somebody better

rollocks

pull yr finger out, Thom.

Dunno much about Bat For Lashes, but I'm glad it's not Liars.

Horrendously overrated band. Guess I'll have to check out Bat For Lashes' stuff - I like Bjork and have at least a soft-spot for Tori Amos, so maybe I'll like 'em.
Sexual Ghost noises, y'say?

*bump*

Where is it eh??

Yes!

I hoped for a great support act to soften the ticket price blow! I love Bat For Lashes - I reckon there'll probably be another band at least added to the dates though - don't "doors" open at something like 4pm?!

I'm a big fan of

Bat For Lashes but last time Radiohead played we had Beck supporting that gets you going a bit more before they come on. I would like her to be the first of two supports maybe a more of a Rapture on after her.

There is hope

The acts at the Barcelona date are:

Bat for Lashes, Clinic, Low, Liars and Modeselektor

Surely some of those will be on the other dates?
