It was from there that he met Jim Parkin (Drums), Gethyn Williams (Guitar and Backing Vox) and finally Dafydd Griffiths (Keys/FX) who completed the Transposer line up.
With drummer Mat Harding fresh from Mclusky joining the band replacing Sheffield bound Jim Parkin in July, the band line up is ready for 2003
The Transposer philosophy was simple – Too many bands just got together and played without real thought to their sound and direction. They practiced hard for a year in practices rooms, honing their sound until they felt ready to assault the public.
Combining cheap keyboards with guitars, Transposer produce an ace sci-fi sound that is "Swimming thrillingly against the stream" – (Adam Walton – BBC Radio Wales).
Transposer cite their influences as a dislike of Jeff Buckley.
Having made their TV debut on HTV’s Pop Factory Transposer are even well liked by the BBC, recieving plays from all your favorite djs including Steve Lamacq, Mary Anne Hobbs and the BBC Wales crew .
