The New 1920 have only been playing live for a short time, but have already made an impression that is rapidly gaining them a solid fanbase and a reputation for being one of the most energetic bands to recently emerge from the South Wales music scene. Mixing equal parts indie and rock together with rhythmic vocal melodies and hook filled choruses the quartet deliver songs that are sharp bursts of kinetic energy designed to dance to. All this put together with off the hook live performances and a sold out single has won them support slots with Kids in Glass Houses, Get cape, Wear cape, Fly, and The Blackout, a place on various festival bills throughout the summer and a U.k and European tour with Lostprophets. The New 1920 were voted new band of the week on New York radio station Channel 1301 and have received airplay and support from both Radio 1 and Xfm.
