Rosie Thomas writes songs like Joni Mitchell and creates day-dream-scapes to rival the Cocteau Twins. She is also a comedienne, whose alter ego-Sheila is a nerdish pizza delivery girl. She has released two albums; the quietly wonderful 'When We Were Small,' and 2003's marvellous 'Only With Laughter Can You Win,' both on Sub Pop.
