American alt-rock of the early 90s such as Jesus Lizard and Girls Vs Boys, and also newer bands like The Icarus Line, System of a Down, Refused.

Brief History/Discography:
Holmes started as a 3 piece in the summer of '98 and for a while were content to play badly attended local shows. We recently expanded to a 4-piece and adopted a much heavier sound. We play lots of shows and are releasing an EP in late March.
Forthcoming Plans
We are playing an outdoor festival in summer, releasing a self-recorded EP on our own label, hopefully continuing to play places we dont know, and maybe even looking into getting a manager.
