Cheetahs made their debut in 1998 at Po Na Na, Highbury, London. Three boys obsessed with the MC5, Iggy Pop and Guy Debord they play loud. An angry, passionate rock n roll fuelled by gasoline and outrage at the khaki-clad conformity of today's branded kids. Cheetah M (guitar, vox), Gavin H (bass, vox) and Simon (drums, vox) bond together to thrill with pure adrenalin and six stringed guitars. Finding themselves in a world devastated by disco music, they decided to start their own club. Kitsch Bitch took up residence at Po Na Na where it established its reputation as the dirtiest, sleaziest and most frenzied night out in London. As Kitsch bitch's popularity increased, a bigger venue had to be sought. So at the begginning of this year, the switch was made to the world famous transvestite cabaret bar, Madame Jo Jo's, where Kitsch Bitch became the focal point for London's trash-punk underground. Bored and frustrated with conventional media, Cheetahs have also published their own fanzine, Big Bad Pig since their first gig. This A3 black and white one-sheet is distributed throughout London and the West End by a hardcore of pale-skinned night creatures who leave BBP in the desingated spots where there fellow kind can be found. BBP attacks the cultural hegemony of Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and other corporations that have fullfilled Joe Strummer's prediction that all rebellion will be turned into
