[Edit this profile]Bon Iver is the brainchild of Justin Vernon, a deliberate misspelling of 'bon hiver', the French for 'good winter'.
His debut, a collection of hushed, intricate folk titled For Emma, Forever Ago was released in May of 2008 through 4AD.
