Amongst the huge pool of metal and emo bands bursting onto the scene at the moment there is Bareface - formed in November 2002 the band have gone from strength to strength, playing shows all over the country and receiving raptured response.

Their music has been described as a Deftones house party being gatecreashed by Poison the Well and Finch. It is an intense, full-on combination of soaring melodies and concrete slabs of heaviness. Influences range all the way from Vision of Disorder to Glassjaw to Massive Attack to Pennywise. every song is different but at the same time familiar to the band's unique sound.
