Synths, drama and cheekbones. That seems to be the criteria these days for any Tom, Dick or Clor to get a record deal. But wait, before you switch off, Leeds based ensemble YSN actually offer a hell of a lot more - if you'll pardon the pun - then the majority of their contemporaries.
'More' is the sound of Roxy Music given an 80s sheen and post millennium repackaging, as singer Pete Wurlitzer insists "Living on the rat race is giving me a lot of trouble" over a barrage of Roland Jupiter and Aha basslines.
YSN really stand out from the crowd though on the immaculate b-side that is 'Away From The Club', which replicates the endless possibilities that could be engineered if Noel Coward had written 'Bohemian Rhapsody' over a semi-Burlesque vaudeville melody.
Ones to watch out for then, in more ways than one...
