Torgas Valley Reds

Torgas Valley Blues

Label: Howl Release Date: 19/04/2004

Mike_Diver by Mike Diver April 22nd, 2004

In a past life, Torgas Valley Reds were known as Backwater and released material through both Ché and Fantastic Plastic. In their new guise they’ve chosen the Howl label for their debut release, and judging by its quality (somewhat expected, their history considered) it won’t be their last. Fuzzy basslines weave around “bah-bah-bahs” straight out of the early Ash songbook. If *Busted *mature into anything like this in a few years we'll forgive them for everything. Handclaps slap you happy throughout, and the feeling's addictive - if all singles were like this the pop charts would be a fantastic place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
