Ooh, hark at the filth on this one! Brian opens his "ashtray heart" with this tawdry tale of kinky sex which may or may not be based on James Dean's alleged perversions. Remember kids, it's not easy being the life and soul of the orgy.
Anyway, back to the matter in hand. You know what you're getting with the average 'Bo single - nagging guitars, that 30-a-day voice, the odd hint of electronica burbling under a throbbing bassline - and in this respect all is present and correct.
Still, I could be wrong about this potential paean to perversion... Brian has his sad face on, which means lots of vague lamentation. "Sometimes it's faded," he wails "disintegrated, for fear of growing old." Bless him.
It's certainly one of the best songs the album has to offer, purely cause it's a lot like the excellent 'You Don't Care About Us'. But then, what was that about things that ain't broke?
