This ep is one for those who like a little more than the standard indie fare. Donderevo have attempted, with some success, to include an electronic edge to their music and although at times you wish they would chance a bit more, the finished product inspires you to follow them closely.
The four-track ep starts with main song 'When Pilots Eject'. An oscillating sound gives way to a slightly overpowering drum onslaught and the whole track loses itself to rock at the break where it would have been interesting to see what could have been produced by going down the more electric avenue (nothing to do with Eddy Grant).
The rest of the tracks continue in this vein with lo-fi indie riffs working side by side with bleeps and sound effects that really grow on you, as if Donderevo are urging you to listen to more of their strange cosmic journey out past the confines of 'IndieWorld' and a bright new frontier.
