Mo-ho-bish-o-pi

Hear The Air

Label: V2 Release Date: 13/08/2001

athomas by Andy (quirk) Thomas August 6th, 2001

"aiiiiiiii here the air moooooving...", V2 plump to rerelease the most hummable tune in the Mo-ho's back catalogue in a commercially uninspired effort to draw attention to the eventual release of their debut album.

It still sounds pretty good of course, 100mph guitar, constipated pre-pubescent screaming, and cheap keyboard lines. This is punky indie, the sort students allegedly liked around 1994. No complexity, no depth, just good back to basics pogo accessibility. No doubt a big live favourite in provincial town toilet circuit hell.

But not, alas, a hit as Mr Branson presumably hopes.
