Not an awful lot to say about this one, but let's face it, it's hardly pitched at the deep and meaningful end of the movie marketplace. It looked good, but never spectacular and the jokes amused, but never knocked me on my ass. If you've seen the first film then you'll pretty much know what you're going to get (and probably did when you went to see that film too!). Will Smith flounders until Tommy Lee Jones and his perfect deadpan comic timing arrive in the second half and inject some missing mojo. Maybe he needs to find some new territory, because even _he_ looks like he's bored of being the eternal 'Fresh Prince'. Lara Flynn Boyle made a sexy leather and lingerie clad alien, and Rip Torn came a close second to Tommy Lee Jones in the comic stakes.
...Maybe a good film to see on a date, since you don't really need to pay much attention to _it_, and can instead gaze frequently into the eyes of your loved one....
