There is twangy, lo-fi punk *blaring out of my stereo as this is written. My leg is shaking uncontrollably. My body is swaying. This is a problem because I am sitting down. Maybe *White Man Kamikaze *_do _want to be The Sex Pistols. I don’t care. They sound good enough to beat the crap out of *The Strokes.
Peculiarly named are the members of this London band. Cujo Disraeli *is the man giving it the “_doo doo doo hoo hoo_” in the chorus: Genius? Carefully hushing his guitar, he restrains the other members – *Johan Van Der Horn *and *Jimmy Van Dijk *- until they are allowed to burst into the frenzied attack of ‘Nightbus*’.
‘Rock Whore’: “You ain’t special, dirty rock whore of mine!” This is maybe the weakest song of the three with a slightly less frantic tempo and it made me laugh, so it’s ok. Funky, low-lying beats adorn the skies of ‘Nature Boy’ with intermittent whooping infusing the immediate horizon. Dance with me. You will, eventually. This is real *garage *music.
