Teenagers with fuzzy guitars and girly harmonies, Suicide Milkshake sound like a band who could soundtrack any teen flick in the last five years. Poppy yet substantial this is Symposium, Blink 182, and Green Day fronted by a more tuneful Shampoo. Old people may talk about The Ramones or Blondie, but it?s unlikely either they (or you) own records by either group. Simply to say this tape is not clever or particularly inventive, but it?s very very good all the same.
