The quartet (two boys/two gerls) have got very mixed influences, the likes of
Sonic Youth, Urusei Yatsura and Sleater-Kinney stand beside Angelica, Kenickie
and bis. Instead of choosing which band they should imitate they've decided to
mix it up a bit and create a fresh new sound.
The lead track 'Weeble' features some noisy Sonic Youth inspired spiky
guitars and intense drumming. As well as some straightforward Kenickie-like
lyrics hoarsely sung by Emma in a Marijne van der Vlugt manner. **'Merry Go
Round' is pretty much the same kind of thing but Emma's vocals are even poorer. On the last track **'Fuje' they drop the vocals and end up with
a long winded intro to a Sonic Youth song. The song has potential to be great but they stop it
before it can grow into an epic.
They show a lot of promise, if Emma's vocals improve they'd be
fantastic.
