the debut album from justin velor is stunning. released on brutal music, it's a vibrant technicolour collision of styles. everything from acid house and vangelis inspired synth drones through to tender folk and psychedelic explosions. the guest list rocks too. it features jez from doves, graham massey of 808 state, teenage fanclub's gerry love, belle and sebastian's chris geddes as well as leee john from imagination. it's got the lot. very, very good indeed.
