Joker - The Vision
While it's hard to critique The Vision for its scattershot successes, as a whole the album is just too erratic to have any sort of lasting impact on formerly ardent fans or casual admirers.»

stepping out of the shadows in 2007 when just sixteen years old, joker's stock has risen dramatically since. aided by him releasing defining cuts like 'digidesign', 'the vision (let me breathe)' and 'tron', he now finds himself thick in the recent resurgence of british electronic music. with the world traveled and a deal with 4ad signed, he's finally ready to appease his waiting public and launch his debut album, 'the vision'. tracks like 'the vision' and 'milky way' draw you in with soft, emotional melodies while tracks like 'tron' melt your brain with an intense showering of bass arrangements. the diversity of the album doesn't stop there, joker further proves his impeccable production skills with tracks that push the boundaries not only instrumentally but vocally as well. 'on my mind' is a deep, vocal driven track that challenges customary ideas of vocal collaboration. similarly, 'back in the days' and 'lost' feature uk rappers that show impressive lyrical excellence over some of the grimiest of instrumentals. the diversity of the album is a true testament to the revival of a sound that has been overshadowed by the dubstep genre, now overflowing with too many overproduced, soulless tracks.
