bloc party frontman kele okereke continues his solo career with an ep entitled 'the hunter'. the seven-track release that includes a cover version of q lazzarus' 'goodbye horses' follows on from his well-received solo lp 'the boxer', which saw him depart from bloc party's trademark edgy guitar sound, embracing his electronic side. 'the hunter' ep is a further collaboration between kele and producer xxxchange, who was behind the production helm of last-years full-length effort. lead track is 'what did i do?' which sees kele abandon his vocal duties, handing over the microphone to vocalist lucy taylor.
