the blood arm's 1st album, 13 songs recorded in a garage studio, was self-released under the title 'bomb romantics'. their 2nd album 'lie lover lie' was released in 2007 on city rockers / because and was produced by ariel rechtshaid (we are scientists, foreign born, cass mccombs). the new album 'turn and face me' has been recorded and produced by david newton from the popular late 80s band the mighty lemon drops in burbank, ca. the album builds upon the raw creative energy of the previous albums while exploring new artistic and sonic frontiers. songs have been featured on the oc, nip / tuck, gossip girl, criminal minds and in the films cloverfield and normal adolescent behavior. most recently their cover of the temptations' 'get ready' was featured in the trailer for shrek forever after.
