It may have taken Long and Kroeber some time to crack the tough nut of a thoroughly radiant album but unlike their namesakes, The Dodos have only ripened with age.»

upfront vinyl copies on wichita recordings. it comes housed in a gatefold sleeve with a download. since releasing their 2009 album 'time to die', the san francisco indie rockers dodos have once again become a duo (after shedding vibraphonist keaton snyder), and they've hooked back up with producer john askew, who produced their first two albums. on 'no color' they've landed themselves quite a collaborator - siren neko case from the new pornographers, who sings on about half the album. the album is full of 90s riffs and the influence of the smashing pumpkins, neil young and the ramones.
