New six-track EP from quintessential English gent Jim Noir, which follows July's free 'Melody Junction' EP. 'Zooper Dooper' will actually cost real money though because, says Jim, 'it's much better'. Mancunian Jim's ear for melody and eye for the absurd is unparralled, as witnessed by the title track's soundtrack to a 'funny ride over a sheep filled field in a glider made of sweets'. Other highlights include the funk biscuit of 'Kitty Cat' and 'Map', where Jim provides some general advice about sailing. Noted for his eccentric attire and psychedelic pop tunes, Jim's released numerous EPs and two albums: 2005's Tower of Love and 2008's self-titled follow-up. A third, recorded in 2009, was lost in a hard drive disaster so until his third LP is readied let the inventive, retro-futurist pop of 'Zooper Dooper' keep you warm this winter.
