In an exclusive interview to be released on the site NME.COM Stuart Braithwaite admitted that they had considered releasing a t-shirt bearing the legend "Gorillaz:even worse." Lucky for Gorillaz though, the idea was dismissed by Braithwaite after he considered the cartoon hip-hop troupe to be "totally irrelevant." "Now I don't think we should even bother with Gorillaz." says Braithwaite. "In the scheme of things it's totally irrelevant." He does however pick a fight with Albarn by calling him a "cunt," and saying that a duet between Albarn and ex-Beatle Paul McCartney "would implode with pure evil."
Fresh from returning from a nationwide tour which involved them playing Isle of Bute, Manchester and London, Mogwai are releasing their new album, "Rock Action" on Monday. It's reported to be mellower than previous albums, but still having some pure nuggets of white hot rocking feedback frenzy. However, if you can't wait until Monday, NME.COM are having an exclusive preview of the entire album from Friday 27th April until its release on Monday. An interview with Mogwai to promote Rock Action can also be seen on www.vitiminic.co.uk which also has a exclusive download of "You don't know Jesus," featured on Rock Action and a US tour diary.
