The installation, entitled Colour Changing Spiral 2003, is a single piece of evolving artwork which has been specially filmed for 360 degree projection, and will be shown at Sketch in London on Friday 17th October at 11.30pm.
To appease the tens of fans who will not be able to make the London premier, The Music have said that they will make the soundtrack and specially designed artwork available to download from their website, www.themusic.uk.com, at some point in the near future.
Rob and Nick Carter are a married couple who live and work in London. As opposed to canvas and paint, the duo use light and light-sensitive paper instead. Over the last three years they have had several exhibitions in Leeds, London and LA.
One band confidant, who oversaw the recording process and has viewed the final installation, confided;
"it was amazing, it really was; it was a real evolution for them - like watching those monkeys learn to throw things at each other in 2000AD. God knows what it'll be like when they work out how to make fire. Watch out!!"
The Music will spinning and hollering at Brighton's Corn Exchange on
October 27th as part of the literally-termed Radio 1 One Live In Brighton
