So they didn't go under, after all: Evanescence return

A little whoop whoop*, please, for it has transpired that goth-poppers Evanescence are back, with new material coming your way - yes, I'm pointing at you - in August.

Singer Amy Lee - that's her pictured, shortly after the bailiffs took all her chairs - has been speaking to Blender magazine about her band's new album, The Open Door.

"I don't want to insult my first record, because I love it. But I love this ten times more - it's sexier. On the first one I was young and small and afraid to express myself. Now I'm talking from my true heart - which isn't always miserable."

Do most people have, like, a fake heart, then? How do I know which one I can safely drive a steak knife through? GOSH...

*Okay, so it's pretty hard to offer up a whoop when your tongue's pressed so hard against the inside of your cheek...
