This forthcoming 2 disc set, possibly to be titled ‘Café Days’ (a suggestion by the late Jeff), was culled from 6 and a half hours of master tape recordings from the 1993 Sin-e gigs. These solo shows were recorded pre-'Grace' in New York at a small Irish cafe on the Lower East Side. Doing a gig a night, Jeff worked his songs out and entertained with covers and banter as well as earning money to pay the rent. But instead of the full release these were edited down to the 4 track ‘Live at the Sin-e’ ep.
There are also rumours of a limited edition DVD bonus disc to be included as well containing video footage and an epk. Full details as we get them.
Christmas come early again for Jeff Buckley fans, but will he ever challenge 2Pac as the posthumous release king?
