And thats not all. DiS have also got word that the band plan a secret show THURSDAY night in the Basement at at Nottingham Rock City under the name ' Velvet Presley' as part of Rock City's usual Student Night.
Admission is £1 with a flyer before 10:30pm,£3.50 without before Midnight (£2.50 with NUS),and £4 after Midnight. Doors open at 8:30pm. get there early , because to say that the Basement is small is an understatement.
(They also play the Oxford Zodiac on July 19th.)
In the meantime, Ginger's been ranting off about on his website too:
"Cambridge was a rock extravaganza of unexpected
proportions, and would have been reviewed by Steven
Wells (a huge supporter of The Wildhearts) for NME, if
the reviews editor didn't think we weren't suitable
for a live review - their reasoning for the decision
being "they're too Kerrang!". Nice to see that even in
an age where ROCK is more popular than ever before in
libido history, there are still a few old guard that
haven't got the fucking foggiest. Still, they've got
Andrew WK to champion - who needs to stick with
homegrown? They probably still think we sound like
Iron Maiden anyway."
Talk about returning with an attitude! Controversial eh?
