Kid Rock-ed by woman's assualt allegations
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly March 15th, 2007

Yankee buffoon Kid Rock has been accused of assault by a woman visiting his home.

The alleged fracas took place after the singer, Bob Ritchie to his parents, invited the woman and her male companion back to his house after meeting them at a bar in Clarkston, Oakland. They were listening to music at Ritchie's before the story begins to splinter.

According to the 28 year-old woman, Ritchie became aggressive when she decided to leave as he wanted her to stay - apparently grabbing her by the neck a couple of times, then pushing her towards her car and into a bank of snow. The man she was with corroborated her story to local police.

Predictably, Ritchie disputes the claims - saying instead that when he played songs from his forthcoming new album to the pair, the woman began acting obnoxiously and criticised his music. Ritchie took umbrage at this and asked her to leave and then the woman claimed she would tell police he assaulted her. Allegedly.

Another party claiming to have witnessed the events has backed-up Ritchie, but police are still waiting before making any arrests.

Over to Oakland County Under-sheriff Michael McCabe:

"At this point, we have two people who say one thing and two other people that say something else.

"Once the investigation is completed, a report will be given to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office."
