DiS in digest: our pick of the week's news

Where were we a week ago? DiS was getting ready for a weekend of welcome oblivian. Brian May was taking a day off from writing his blog. Anna Nicole Smith was alive, somewhere. The world didn't know Heather Mills was skint. Not been the best week for gold diggers has it, really?
