Horses, horses, horses, horses: Patti Smith to cross the Atlantic. I assume she'll just fly, though
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly February 9th, 2007

Patti Smith will play nine UK and Ireland shows in May as she looks to promote the release of new album 12.

That record is out on April 16th, and sees Patti reinterpreting tracks by other artists including The Doors, Nirvana, Stevie Wonder and Bob Dylan.

People such as Tom Verlaine and Flea will also guest on the record, but for now here's the tour details:

May
10 Kendal Arts Centre
11 Ulverston Coronation Hall
13 Dublin Vicar Street
17 London Roundhouse
19 Minehead All Tomorrow’s Parties
20 Liverpool Academy
22 Glasgow ABC
23 Newcastle Sage
24 Sheffield Plug

Tickets will cost anywhere between £20 and 27.50, and are on sale now. ATP tickets obviously cost more.
