The follow up to 'Good Souls' will be released on the 20th August, the day after their V2001 appearances. The track, previously included on an NME cover CD is a regular live favourite.
Starsailor's debut album, now complete, is rumoured to be scheduled for a September 3rd release.
Meanwhile, vocalist James Walsh has answered back to Ash and Mogwai who slated he or Starsailor in recent press. At the Fleadh festival, Walsh dedicated 'Good Souls' to Tim Wheeler, saying 'This one is for Tim wheeler from Ash...This is your first fucking lesson in humility, the second will come from Neil Young later.' This was in response to Wheeler asking for a raise of hands at recent gigs to those who hated Starsailor.
Similarly, at a recent birthday celebration gig, Walsh asked if Braithwaite (Mogwai) was dead yet, asking his keyboardist's 16st brother to sit on his head. This was in reaction to Braithwaite's recent comment that Walsh would 'fuck his granny' to win an award.
