The gig, on Tuesday 18th October at the Vibe Bar on Brick Lane, starts at 8pm and features (info from Gringo 'emselves):
BILGE PUMP
Three-piece post-punk heroes from Leeds, Bilge Pump are both the most aggressive and yet somehow cheeky band in the UK. Savagely poignant illustrations of everyday life backed by entirely self-destructive lead heavy bass lines and barking raw guitar riffs.
SOEZA
Soeza are from Bristol and have been doing this a long time. Male and female vocals and cornet over two drummers and jazzy bass and guitar. Fun and beautiful amazingness that wouldn't go amiss on Dischord records.
LORDS (drummer pictured... enjoying tea, perhaps?)
Nottingham/Derby based blues-esque twisty grooves not dissimilar to Golden. Ingenious equipment played by members of Wolves of Greece and Twinkie. Good time vibes shine out of their beauty faces and cheer up and amaze all who watches them. Debut album This Ain't A Hate Thing, It's A Love Thing out soon on Gringo!
You should probably go, y'know. More details here.
